Did anyone just watch the one o'clock news on BBC 1

The final story turned out to be a horse stuck in the mud.

"Oh but it's the lighter, end of the news type story" I hear you say.

Thing is they had to go all the way to america to nick this story. Can't the BBC use all that licence fee money to find something a bit more interesting or is there really no other news to report (not bloody likely).

I just found my old master system in the attic the other say, I bet far more people would have been interested in that than a bloody horse.

Well they have time to fill and if thats what they think is worthy of being added into that time then fine.

Imagine if you tuned in to a blank screen saying that there is no news today - sorry.

Im happy how the BBC spend my money :p

I might be giving the impresson that I'm against the licence fee/how they spend it, I'm not. Just making a comment.

I just bet the presenter saying "sorry no news" would be far more interesting :D

Ha ha, she/he just has to sit there. Now THATS telly! :D

Don't the BBC employ reporters around the world anyway? Perhaps the Lincoln reporter didn't have anything more interesting to report than a horse stuck in mud :p

Knowing most places in America, that reporter must have sent an urgent email to BBC news head office saying he has a massive story only to come up with that corker 2 mins before air.
