SM-2443BW , SM-2493HM - What's the difference?

I have the SM-2493HM. :) Really pleased with it. It looks amazing (the gloss black frame and chrome along the bottom) and the touch screen buttons are a nice touch. (If a little annoying when slightly dark as you can't see them). Height adjustable and all of that lot. I run mine via HDMI and the picture is great.

I have turned off Dynamic Contrast though. I hate how it alters the picture, as I believe many people will also... I do not have a proper colour calibration kit or anything, but, I've used some websites and the likes and the screen was pretty much spot on out of the box. :)

I watch the occasional movie, but mostly I browse the web and game and it handles it all fine. Not noticed any ghosting. But just make sure your GPU is beffy enough for gaming at 1920x1200.

With regards to the differences between those two you mention. Well, the HM has HDMI connectivity and also a higher brightness value. :) So I think for HDCP content this screen is needed, hence the increase in price.
