So all my previous builds have had the seperate i/o panel that pops into the case. I've just put together a new build using an msi b560 torpedo which has an intergrated one and well it doesn't seem to fit as nicely, there is a gap towards to top of it.

It's lined up correctly

Out of the case, it doesn't look bent, but it doesn't look perfect either, but I thought it would have been fine once its in, as the ones you pop in are often not perfect either, but you can just whack them.

Is it just a tolerance thing? Mass produced plate + a mass produced case and unlike the seperate ones, you can just bash these till it fits. The board is definitely in correctly, case has a locator peg and the other 8 all lined up and screwed in fine.
If it makes a difference, cooler is a d15s. I did try loosening it, but it did't seem to make any difference to the gap. System works fine, ram shows up which is normally the first thing to leave if the cooler is too tight.
I searched and see a fair amount of complaints about gaps around the intergrated ones. Is this just a thing with them? Did I mess up somehow (not sure how, it's attached to the board and the board only goes in one way)?
Case is a Corsair 750d.
Thanks.
