Up until now I've been using a ye oldie immersion heater for my hot water. This decided to pack up at the weekend. After looking at my hot water needs I'd like to move away from this setup and get a boiler installed.

I don't have central heating, just a gas fire and storage heater upstairs. Luckily the house maintains an average temp of around 20 degrees C so heating isn't a problem. This means installing central heating is pretty pointless.

My daily hot water requirements are:

Washing the pots
Washing hands/face etc

I have an electric power shower.

Is there such thing as a mini boiler I could have installed?

The kettle is going to be the cheaper option, one for the bathroom, one for the kitchen?

I never used to bother with the hot tap, it takes to long to heat up, even with a boiler, used to just boil the kettle and then stick some cold in, creating a hot bowl of water, but not scalding. For washing up.

I could deal with it for the kitchen but washing my hands/face using water from a kettle is a little ghetto.
