Smaller Tyres

Would it be OK to change the the tyres on my 2003 Renault Clio from 175/65/14 to 165/65/13?

What effect would this have?

My current tyres are close to needing replaced, and I can get 5 practically brand new tyres from an older Clio that’s about to be scrapped for a very low price.

Well you'd need different steel wheels/alloys, for a start..

The only effect is that they won't fit.

If you want to change the wheels to the smaller ones it'll throw your speedo out as the 13s have a smaller rolling radius. You'll also need to make sure they are the correct stud pattern and offset.
