Smart ForTwo Service + Parts

Have a Smart ForTwo Passion (old) needs servicing, should I go to a Smart dealership or independ garage?

I also need a rear wing (drivers side), where is the best place to hunt for one of these?

Good independent with a good rep imo, always found dealers prices wayy inflated and got better services at recommended mechanics (mates used them etc..

). Breakers yard for mirror?

I'd go to an independent or if you can find one, a Smart Specialist. I always got shafted when I took it to Merc for service :/

I'd go with the breakers yeard, or perhaps a Smart forum for the body part.

Take it somewhere that knows what they're doing with Smart's. I doubt kwik fit etc could do with having no sump plug (The oil has to be sucked through dipstick iirc)

As for the part, found the rear wing for £55, but in matt black, guessing painting is going to cost a lot? and where can it be done?

Don't think thats done much? Would look to just get the proper colour or change it as a pair.

Been quoted £115+£15(delivery) for the part and paint, however the guy insists he will do it for £9 delivery if I called him and gave him my credit card details over the phone :s
