Smash goes the lappy :s

Hi guys just a quick couple of Q's! My mums boyfriend has dropped his new lap top on our tiled kitchen floor so the screen has completely smashed! But it still powers up and the tiny bits of the screen that haven't smashed just display multi couloured artifacts which leads me to believe the graphics card has gone bye bye! So what i would like to know is where is the best place to get the screen repaired and a new graphics adaptor fitted? I know theres no competitors allowed but give us a clue

Tried a spare tft but it doesn't wanna know! Once plugged in the screen comes up with "Auto reajusting" then nothing! If you press any buttons on the monitor it comes up with "In power save mode, press any button on the keyboard to continue"... still nothing!

Specs are as follows:
Toshiba Equium A100-027
Dual Core T2060
1 Gig RAM
Vista Home Premium 32bit
15" WXGA tft screen

No mention of the graphics card though :s
