Snow Patrol.

good band live, seen them three times now, and everytime they put on a good show, if anyone has a spare to the london gigs let me know!
 
Seeing them tomorrow at the GMEX (well, technically today:p).
They were amazing at the Ritz, but its a small venue, and smaller ones usually are better. It'll be interesing to see how it all translates to a bigger venue.
 
yeah i looked to get tickets for the london shows, but going for silly money on fleebay, i still remember them from the Isle of Wight fest in 2004 & 2005 - amazing!
 
Tru, nice to see someone admitting that Eyes Open is a great album.

Hope that no more singles are released of it though!!!

Hate when record companies hammer albums with too many single releases.

If you want to get tickets early, sign up to the Snow Patrol website, they allways email with advance warning for new ticket sales. :)
 
Saw them support U2, thought they were alright but nothing special. Have listened to the new album once, wasn't that impressed, seemed a bit boring. I don't like how everyone expects them to write "big" songs like Run and they consciously set out to make huge stadium-esque tracks. Just my opinion though.
 
Gutted.
Got all the way to Manchester with an hour to spare. Got into central Manchester, and hit traffic. By the time we managed to 'see' the GMEX it was already 8.10 (doors open at 6), and then with all the traffic, it was impossible finding somewhere to park. So either way, we were gonna miss the concert.
So we turned round and went. :( £25 down the drain. :(

a guy i used to work with used to bang on about them all the time and i was like they're crap but then i listened to some of their songs are they a brilliant


How To Be Dead - Is a amazing song i love it :D

they are brilliant, i've never been to any gig before any tips of where to get tickets please tell me cos i wanna go to one please :D

The problem was that we were a good 25-30mins away from parking when we decided to pack up. Im not as gutted as my mates as ive seen them before, but annoyed none the less.
We would have been ok, but some ######## was stopping people using the GMEX carpark for some reason!?

NP. :) Whats said in a thread stays in a thread. Im glad to see you take that opinion as well. I respect people who can do that. :)

On the upside, it allowed me to get a good few hours of Zelda in before bed. :p
 
My favourite track without doubt is "set the fire to the 3rd bar". Although, i do only like 2-3 songs from each album.
