I think the poll was just a bit of fun, unless there is something I don't know I don't think it is being discussed

heres the post , poll was just a laugh at our expense you wont get a garden-diy forum unless you can convince the german owners

Fine, ignore me. But at least a Don should come on here and give us the final word. And if it's a no, have the graciousness to apologise for a monumental April fools ****-up.

The moderators won't apologise, nor does it look like they're willing to listen to the community in here.

It wasn't a 'serious' poll to start with really.

Shame as I'd of enjoyed, and looks like other would have enjoyed a Home and Gardening forum.

Cooking had far more threads and even that has seen a significant slump. You need s critical mass, there just isn't enough threads on home &gardening and 99% of them are one time threads rather than active members contributing threads on a regular basis.

It would become a ghost forum with only a handfull of regular members and the huge footfall that GD brings would be lost and you would find threads wouldn't even be half the size ad they would be in GD.

bring cooking back!

I hope you all post in there if it does go ahead after all this fuss :p.

Tbh I haven't started growing anything this year so I wont be very active. Although I could post a few of the woodwork projects I plan to do. If it doesn't go ahead, i'll still post them in GD, there will just be a few extra yepthisiswood.jpgs posted :D.
