Works for me.
Best to keep these in GD to be honest otherwise you'll get 10 posters, at most, going over the same things and it will all be covered in a fortnight. Keep it in GD and you get a few more outrageous and interesting views that makes it more worthwhile. Look at how stale SC is and imagine the lack of interest multiplied by 50.
Gardening makes more sense as more people do that I guess. Not me though hate the damn things only good for playing football in.

Maybe there just needs to be a miscellaneous forum....there are so many sub-forums these days!
I quite liked the idea of a gardening sub forum. Then again, there are those that might argue this is just a slippery slope to a boobies sub-forum

Yes! I like the idea above of a 'Home & Garden' forum.
I think there was much more interest in a food forum... and that isn't exactly busy...

I agree with the OP, i thought the gardening subforum was actually a good idea
If you read my post again you'll see I stated I wasn't opposed to the idea. I have zero interest in gardening, but as you rightly point out there are lots of sub-forums on non-IT topics.
I was just making a suggestion. I thought that was allowed

I cannot see the problem with a Home & Garden forum when we have stuff such as La Cuisine and on the water. It's a great topic.
