So here's my new site :D just wanted to show it off.

http://pjk-photography.co.uk

But I need to make 3 simple changes which are

1: more info in the "about"
2: random pic of me in the "about" - like a chared/burned picture or something still unsure
3: tag cloud just need to set that up

Side Note: Some of the pictures are not stretched and are centred under the header links. I'm not sure if i like it or not, but tbh I like it enough atm, however any suggestions are welcome !!!!

must say thanks to JAY-ESSENTIAL, Jonny_no2 and Kona* for helping me out / contributing & pointing me in the right direction with this :D

Thanks man and yeah,

I liked the blog style as I fannied on so much with it before and I didn't want to integrate it. So I couldn't decide on an opening page that would show blog and my gallery so I thought Id make a pop up and keep both pages open :)

a lot of kit you got listed there on the webby wow!!! might bump into you in pandon wnt be hard to recognise guessing u probs have a suitcase of gear dragging around behind you lol:D

I like it!

However - When on this image:

http://www.pjk-photography.co.uk/gallery/index.php?showimage=189

And clicking next, it doesn't seem to do anything, just re-loads the same page.

yup thats the newest image, I wasnt sure wether to use like a cycle and go around to the beginning but its in date preference

I can't seem to add a comment to a photo. Specifically this one:
http://www.pjk-photography.co.uk/gallery/index.php?showimage=116

Submitting just resets the boxes and my comment is not saved.

comment is up, Ive got comments moderated, I think Ill disable moderation now :)

Erm... you do know the logo says "Photogrphy", don't you?

OMG, first class mistake right there ! thanks dude!

Looking good, i like both the layout of the photo section, especially the change when looking at a portrait picture compared to a landscape shot, very nice!

by the way, there is an addon for pixelpost to remove the next link at the newest photo and the previous link at the oldest photo, if you are interested I'll hunt it down?

(as for the thanks for any helping out - no problem)

Why are almost all photographer's sites black?

I think that's because pictures look better on either a white or a black background, as a coloured background can wash a photo out... It's just that Black is generally more popular than white.

yeah that addon would be pretty good, if you could find it I'd be most grateful, I was actually going to email you about the (i assume is an addon) with deviant art in which it puts a direct link to that selected photo so you can buy it etc ? also just found a piclense (now cooliris) addon so I might add that in, have you updated to 1.7.3 yet ?

the deviant art links is just done using the custom fields add on, I made a custom field which i paste the link to the deviant art shop address of the picture, and in the template i put it so the value of that particular field is shown as a link. Use the same add on a few times on each picture, location, lens type etc.

I am still on 1.7.1, hadn't realised it was updated. Might not update though as I have modded the original code in a few places!
