So How many times have you accepted defeat in games?

COD4 on Veteran near the end in the nuclear missile silo, an area that some coined 'the corridor of death'.

First you have to make it half way down a corridor full of respawning guys, when you get half way down there are doors to the left and right, both have bad guys in them, so you shoot one and the one behind you kills you. If you somehow get past that the silos behind these doors suddenly fill with bad guys... took me days to do that one section. It then end I had to cheat a little- kept throwing grenades to confuse them all and pegged it to the next save point where it despawned everyone behind me :D

final fantasy XIII the brynhilder fight with Sazh and Vanille grrrrrrr took me two days and umpteen i wanna smash this crap threats to beat lmao

Actually I'll add any Need for Speed game. Damn rubberband AI. In Hot Pursuit it seems the tactic is to save up your nitrous as you'll be overtaken regardless even if all the other cars crash out and are miles behind and then when you hit about 1 mile to the finish blast past the rest of the pack using nitrous.

Near gave up on Black Ops in the aforementioned areas (corridor and the barrel stabbing parts). Managed to do the latter with smoke granades thank god. Same with CoD:WaW, the 2nd to last level, getting up the steps on Veteran.. man.. raining grenades. Took about 100+ attempts.

Can't remember any game I've gave up on to be honest.

I never managed to complete WAW on Veteran. I did every single mission but one, which I think was the 5th mission through the Campaign.
