After dithering around I got one today, just got the premium pack as it worked out the cheapest...with a hard disk anyway.

My first groan though, I followed the instructions in the documentation for setting up my gamertag. However, i didn't get a 30 day trial! Turns out the documentation you get with the box is wrong, you have to setup you entire profile and a new "live" account ON the xbox, not via the website as the documentation said so i'm a little annoyed as I have two gamertags now :(

Only game I bought for the time being is Rockstar Table Tennis, I know its not the best on offer but i've been surprising hooked to it most of the afternoon! The PGR3 demo isn't too bad, although I'm waiting on test drive to finish downloading at the moment. Also, is there any gears of war demo available? I can't find it anywhere?

Overall though, I'm impressed!

I will assume you mean Gears of War, as god of war is for the ps2.

There is no playable demo for Gears of War anyway, doubt there ever will be tbh.

Now if i'd had my thinking cap on, I would have probably picked up on that :D

If you want a decent playable demo, get the Lost Planet one.

It's an amazing game if you buy it aswell, similar style game to GoW.

Lost Planet is average at best, it's a rent and not a buy, IMO It's boring as hell but it does look magnificent.

The best game, again IMO, other than Gears of War is Splinter Cell Double Agent. Awesome game from start to finish. Word of warning though, the demo of it is crap for some reason

I've just finished Lost Planet and I loved every minute of it.

Had more fun with it than GoW (cover, shoot, cover, shoot. ooh, cover, shoot).

Well in Lost Planet the parts from the start of the level to the end bosses were utterly pointless. Run through shooting random creatures with no chance of being killed, unless you blow yourself up (because it's too easy) and switching on the map thingies to show you where to go. Then you get the boss fights (which some were stupidly hard) and a random cut scene in between levels. Maybe it's because it's set on some random planet with silly creatures and a daft story that it hasn't gripped me.

If you were finding certain parts too easy, turn the difficulty up I always do that if i'm finding it easy, Played MSG3 and it a little easy, This was on normal, So upped it to hard for a better experience. Same when I played Res Evil 4. :)

There was a map? lol...I never used it if that's the case.

You know the things that also recharge your Thermal Energy. I doubt you could have survived without switching them on.

Rainbow Six Vegas is a must have if you like shooters, as is gears of war. Perosnally i find test drive dangerously addictive, adn im just starting with COD3, albeit a lot of the time im screaming at the TV its that annoying sometimes.

I'm feeling like getting a 360 soon, mainly for halo 3 though, cant see myself playing much else on it.

Eek.. glad someone likes it. A game of total trial and error, not sure what I was suppose to be doing half the time. Also the graphics in multiplayer  why is it so crap, like playing a PS2 game.
