So i did it... I have an ST-3.

Considering a pre-facelift one as a replacement for my ST170 at some point, love them! Never thought I'd like a car in orange before I saw one of these..

What is it with the people who bought these not having climate control fitted though?! Argh! I'd have a nightmare finding one with climate within budget (only one on PH in black that I've seen so far).

i didnt know the climate was an extra :s
Mine has dual zone climate control.

The dash board is the same!

The biggest change is the clocks - you get a slightly bigger display which just shows exactly the same information.

The overal dash then - radio area and stuff. Might have been the facelift had a big display (Sat nav?) but looked much better.

I looked at many Pre-face and i have to say that the face lift ST is by far a better looking car.
The carbon look, imho, looks good!

Whats wrong with the carbon stuff? Better than dull hard scratch plastics?

You should drive a Chevrolet Spark :)

Exterior maybe, and even then its subjective. Considering how much worse it is, there is just no way the facelift interior is better, however.

Because it has lots of classy, fake carbon fibre which you seem to like so much :)

Sometimes it looks good, sometimes it looks bad.

It looks better in the facelift than the pre facelift.

In my opinion.

Oh and my dash (minus the satnav):

Which is better than both :D

Yes I've been in one, and it also has disgusting CF lookalike crap.

But LOL. The interior is disgusting and doesn't look much like that at all - go take a picture of your own.

Thanks - it looks just as average in your photographs :)

I fail to see how you think that is better than either STs interior.

From my experience it is.

Bravo > Focus ST Facelift > Focus ST

But this is totally for another thread anyway.

So ignore my car and I really don't see how the facelift ST is worse inside than the pre facelift?

Does the plastic move in an inch when you poke it? ;)

I find it best to simply not touch it, that way nothing can go wrong :p

I see your delusions about your car stretch further than hot hatches and speed :D

Having had both for more than five minutes, the pre-facelift is the better interior, for the reasons I've already stated.
