...and the swirl marks dissapeared (well, most of them)

I was quite dissapointed after i used it, coudlnt see much of a difference, then i gave it a polish and the shine really came up, however the paint still feels liike it could be a lot smoother, expecially on the bottom half of the car.

Is the next logical step to give the clay bar a try?

That does look exceptionally tidy now :D

Get yourself a Megs clay bar kit, you wont be dissapointed with the final results.

Have you considered getting a later model front grill form a scrappies?

Yes, but then i would have to get the headlights aswell, as they wont line up properly, slightly different around the bottom inner corners!

The clay bar will make the paintwork a lot smoother. I would pain the rear drums black though.

Yeah i know, was a spur of the moment "its hot enought ot paint but no shops are open so lets use whats left over" day.

Do you want to come and do my little viagra powered hairdryer? It could do with fantastic polishing/paintwork like that!

Hi there

Yup scratch-X works great on some pain surfaces/colours for removing swirl marks wheras on some it has hardly no effect but certainly worth a try and as your results show it paid of for you. :)
