So I get home to find a box ............

This would be useless for Cluney. I bought him a scratching post, he didn't touch it once but instead uses my dining table legs. I have to rotate it periodically so he doesn't go through a leg and the table collapses when I sit down for my dinner! :o

That looks... Awesome. I found it on wee-bay, and I think I'm going to grab one for my two moggies.

Just one quick question though: How sturdy is it? See, one of my cats is really quite a porker (around 6Kg), so I'm thinking at ~6ft tall it's going to need to be quite solid to survive general catty-antics?

It feels flimsy untill you get the ramp on at the bottom, the triangulation stiffens the whole lot up so even with the pair scrapping on the top it seems fine :)

Wow, I thought my cat tree was big but it's nothing compared to that!

I've got a Kalven cat tree that has managed to withstand 5 years of two 5kg ragdolls using it every day. They're expensive but very well made, the only thing that is showing any sign of wear on my tree is the sisal rope.
