At this time of year you can expect to be pulled for all the stupid little things that they normally can't be bothered with as they try and catch people on the way back from having a couple of drinks at the office party.

Just change the bulb and have done with it, why the hell would you get points or a fine or a record or hard time its a bulb, they are simply informing you that its been noted and you need to change it to comply with the rules of the road. Damn.
Well by extension if I wasn't complying with those rules I'd be subject to fine, no? Anyway tail lights are fixed now...but I also realised one of my rear fog lights isn't working either
Time to visit Halfords again...
