And i thought id kill some time while im waiting for my flight to stockholm by using one of these strange airport internet machines.

Its pretty cool actually except the "y" key is in the wrong place and everyone can see what youre going on. So no pr0n for me!

Anyway, this has to be one of the most boring airports around, there's diddllzz squat to do and i ive alreay had a beer....hmmm...perhaps I should go get another!

Anyway, this is MrSix signing out from Frrankfurt.

Those German trolly dollies are better looking than the UK's crop of orange crayola faced tarts arent they?

At least, last time I was on a german airline flight they were a pair of damn fine looking aryans. :D

Belfast City Airport has that title as far as I'm concerned - there is no viewing gallery, internet access, decent restaurants, or arcade machines (that I can see!)

You mean the newly renamed "Geroge Best City Airport" I believe? ...I hate that name.

Isn't there a pub in it, upstairs?

I like Frankfurt, they didn't stop me and some pals juggling in the lougne to waste sometime. UK airports go nuts almost instantly..

Yeah, I hate it too, and I will continue to know it as Belfast City Airport. If FlyBe flew from the International, I would never be in it! Yes, there is a pub, but my flights are always at stupid times like 6am, so I really don't want to sit in a pub at that time!

:) Where abouts in N.Ireland are you anyways?

Frankfurt airport is huge.

Don't get lost!

Try to blag yourself into the business class lounge if you have time to kill.

Longest building Ive been in, had to walk for ages to get to my gate.

Belfast.

If I ever have to use City early morning I usually grab breakfast in the wee cafe place, even though its overpriced, and sit there drinking my coffee, watching the absolute nothingness of the runway and wasteland beyond stretching out to the docks. Its very dull.

....and then invariably, by the time I get on the plane I'm dying for a pee due to all the coffee I drink sitting there. :p

Been there done that... that's not so impressive :p

Do it from the middle of the atlantic would earn you more cool points, or from Mir for that matter :p ;)

That's the departure lounge :p

You can see the airfield from the restaurant upstairs but it's a bit of a crap setup. Belfast City Airport always has been a joke of an airport. It wasn't that long ago that it was built from portacabins ffs :p

I fly Heathrow - Belfast City about twice a month and I ALWAYS try to cut it really tight for the check in. I leave it to the last minute so I don't have to wait in that godawful departure lounge. It's always worth trying my hand at getting an upgrade so I can sit in the BMI lounge, anything to avoid that other monstrosity.
