So im on the Sky+ HD "list" for an invitation...

Following on from my other thread here.

My Dad decided to go out earlier and came back with a 40" Samsung HDTV, so I called up Sky and the order had to be cancelled so that I could get two Sky HD boxes instead of one!

Anyway, it wasnt a problem and I have been put on a list for the service and the chap on the phone said it takes roughly 1-2 days normally

So I'll get an email and text message when I can finalize my order for the HD services.

I am very impatient

p) and I was just wondering if anyone else has been on this list waiting for Sky HD much like I am and how long it ended up taking, they allow "weeks" for it but most people seem to get it within a day or two.

Anyone have any experience of this?

I ordered on the Sunday and was sent a text on the Monday to book the install.

Turns out some clueless woman cancelled my previous order wrong so they couldnt put the deal through (even though I got my text this morning)!

Anyway, 3 hours on the phone later speaking to all manner of departments its been sorted and im getting Sky+ HD multi room on Friday afternoon, cant wait
