So... Pick up my new Sony Ericsson W995 tomorrow

I have taken a 18 month contract with orange on the dolphin package, 1200 mins and unlimited texts, £35 a month.

Anything I should keep an eye out for? Any experiences with the phone?

inpressed with the phone so far, haven't really used the cam on it, all I ve been using is wifi

perdictive texting is a pain the in the butt through

and its a bit slow when it comes to lunching games other wise its on the ball

Why are you downgrading then? You could have got a discounted price plan and no phone upgrade.

Cos it's a old phone, all be it brilliant, its on pay as you go and I'm spending almost over 60 quid a month atm on credit due to business (don't get claims on it ).

Plus, the W995 has some features that will come in VERY handy, such as GPS, the amount I get lost on the bike due to getting carried away when on my Sunday morning rides out to Aylesbury is unreal lol.

Just wondered why the predictive is awful.

My current, W810i will still be with me, just a backup phone.

Went to pick up my W995 from CW last night, the little gobby yob behind the counter told me it hadn't been delivered and should be there today, hopefully.

Also, does anyone know if the GPS will be able to relay directions through the in ear speakers? Or is it on screen mapping only?

Very pleased with it so far

Fast responsive software, buttons could do with more of a 'click' but thats cos im used to the W810i, very sturdy build quality. Happy with that, image quality is not bad as well as video
