That's warm for idle![]()
Hi are you running more than 1 monitor, because when I enabled 2 on my hd 6970 it added about 10-15c to my temps.Yes I'm starting to think that. I've got fans now on 100% and card won't dip below 50c, weird since it used to idle at 39c when I first got it. I've also noticed that my clocks stay now at 500/1425 when they used to be much lower at idle like 300/600 and no i'm not watching any youtube videos, just have this webpage up.
Anyone got any ideas how I can get back to my old idle temps? roll back AMD drivers? uninstall MSI afterburner?

No problem I know just turning the monitor off doesn't work you have to disable it, glad i could helpAh yes I am, though I have it switched off I guess it's still active under the gpu's load
Pulled vga cable out of gpu and clocks down to 300/150 and temps dropping, thank you very much!

30c in my room. GPU is idling at 38c and CPU at 40-43 across the cores.
Not sure how people are staying at 30c idle in this weather unless they have AC.

They must have a conbination of AC along with a Silverstone FT02/RV02.![]()
