Just been browsing the monitors on ocUK to see what's new and what prices are like and noticed the Viewsonic LED 22" screen. Price wise, I was thinking to myself "well for like £50 more you can get the 24" BenQ screen which is great!".

But I was thinking, which would you get from the 2 if you were offered one of them?

On one hand the BenQ has the full HD resolution and 1:1 pixel mapping and loads of inputs! However, the 22" Viewsonic has LED's which apparently give better colour.... so would it look better than the BenQ? But it's still just TN.

So... answer away please. I'd be interested to hear what people make of the Viewsonic screen.

Cheers.

Which 24" BenQ are you on about as there are a few?
What are you going to be using the Monitor For ? PS3/Sky/ PC etc?

Looking at the Spec of the 22" Viewsonic
1680x1050 Resolution, LED Backlight Technology, 12,000:1 Contrast Ratio, 5ms Response Time, 250 cd/m2 Brightness, 1x Analogue Input, 1x Digital Input, 3yr On-Site Warranty.

does it fit your needs ? is "LED Backlight Technology" important to you, and more importantly, does it make that much of a difference as to warrant choosing the Viewsonic over an extra 2 inches in viewing size, "full HD resolution and 1:1 pixel mapping and loads of inputs!" as you put it. I cant really say, nor can I give an opinion on the viewsonic as I own a... BenQ FP241WZ 24" and put my Sky/PC and PS3 through it... and its lovely ! (but then I'm biased :D) 1080p and blu-ray movies look great as does 1920x1200, although I only have standard Sky with a sky+ box as I cant afford sky HD (or rather I don't think it is worth it atm)

bleh not very subjective I know but I likes me BenQ, if you can afford it you'd like one too :p
