So which car(s) have the best interior?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that a fully specced Citroen DS3 wins hands downf or me in the supermini class.

...the person who specced it originally has the eyesight of Stevie Wonder, and the style cues of Lady Gaga?

What a horrid colour combination. Far better pictures out there that show the 6-series to be of decent quality and style.

Wood + cream wins. You fail.

But then I suppose you have to question the taste of anyone that thinks a DS3 has a class-leading interior, with that nasty lump of hard white plastic stuck onto the dash.

Section 3, my car. :P

It also has a different dashboard material than any other 156 I've seen, not sure if that's a Veloce II feature or a Malysia feature...

Edit: But if panel gaps are critical the passenger airbag and glovebox lid are going to let it down.

Jag are very much premier league.
Whilst I hate to say it, Audi next. Just a shame that so many people assume that the mechanicals of their Audi's are as good as the interiors (clearly NOT the case).
Having now sat in a few, Volvo next up. Some of the best seats out there.

Quite how anyone included a Citroen in this thread, I've no idea. Just go have a look at the cheap and nasty plastic that's not directly infront of where you normally look.

Regarding Audi.... My A6 has a fantastic interior, especially at night with the ambient lighting and everything. Very nice place to be.

However, I had a new A4 loan car and it was bloody aweful TBH. Acres of hard plastic and a very plasticky feel. Definately owed more to VAG parts bin than my car.

3 series M-Sport :)

You have got to be joking right? Whilst in some colour combos its actually very nice, in some its downright bland and even at its nicest it isn't anything like as nice as that in cars like the F10!

I wish you were right as I'm a massive interior snob and I'm after a 3 Series next, but I've never driven a single one and felt the interior was a candidate for 'the best'.

Actually, I assumed the leather was an individual lime, if it's cream then fair enough, the photos really let it down.

And the Citroen DS3 actually feels surprisingly well built for a supermini, especially a French one.

I'm in no way comparing it to the larger classes of car, but on its own merits (especially compared to a Mini or a 500, it's leagues ahead). The Mini has more hard plastics than the DS3, I should know, we've got one on the driveway (55 plate Cooper S).

What about the hard plastic that surrounds the nav display and controls? Always struck me as looking and feeling very cheap whenever I've driven an A6.

cant say ive noticed about the nav surround. ill have a look later. Theres no nav controls near the screen on mine though? The controls are further down and on the centre console etc. TBH I thought the controls themselves were really high quality. there made of metal and have that "knurled" touch to them.

The trouble with current Jag interiors is the blue lighting, blue light is for infantile twerps who think it looks cool and don't seem to care that they can't see at night because their dash ruins their night vision. VW seem to be capitalising on this market segment at the moment.

Red is the right colour for interior lighting, it doesn't affect your night vision at all, always admired BMW for getting this right. Though Audi definitely do it batter with that dim light over the drivers area.
