So who is into the kinda weird Hentai/Anime stuff around here?

The only Anime I like(d) is the stuff that was on Cartoon Network, CITV, Sky One when I was little. Stuff like Pokemon, Dragon Ball Z and Yu-Gi-Oh. Never had any interest in the "More mature" anime or tentacle pr0nz.

To add.

I personally loved the style of Final Fantasy 7/8etc. I do think that the characters in them games are pretty "cool" but I cant get my head around the appeal of buying dolls and figurines of what look like schoolgirls.

There's definitely a lot that depict younger girls. I won't even mention the shockingly young age of the many tentacles that feature in the industry, suffice to say said appendages have barely entered puberty - it's nothing short of exploitation. It disgusts me.

I watch a fair amount of anime, never bought a single figurine, and none of them are about schoolgirls.

Once again assumptions on a topic on which you're ignorant.

for me its very misunderstood and also borderline freaky.

I do watch main stream stuff such as:

Ghost In the Shell
Akira
FMA
Appleseed

Stuff like that but none of the other, lets say less stuff I agree with...

I guess I aiming more at the less common stuff. I said "weird" in my thread title.

I used to watch Manga cartoons, Guyver, Akira, Patlabor etc. I liked them and still appreciate them today.

The Animation is phenomenal. As with Studio Ghibli stuff.

But Im more curious about those with the stranger tastes in animation.
 
I watch some anime, Neon Genesis Evangelion is very good, and Ghost In The Shell. While it has a higher rate of creepyness than other genres (although its not really a genre) the majority of it is fine.
