So who loves the UFC !! I have been hooked for years !

Since I've started kickboxing I've taken more of an interest. The fights where they aren't grappling or trying to hold each other on the floor are the best. Fairly brutal show.
 
Isn't UFC 81 soon? I think it's on Sky tomorrow. Brock Lesnar starts his UFC career, I wonder how long it will last!?
 
I know very little about UFC although did go and see UFC 70 in Manchester and watch the main fights etc.
My brother got into MMA a few years ago so I only know what he's told me really

Pretty brutal at 1.30 or so.

At about 2mins or so Pride is shown, ridiculous size difference - I don't know why he's so excited about winning - the other guy was 3 times smaller than him.

Been a big fan of the UFC for many, many years now.

There's big threads on it in the Sports forum whenever a PPV comes on :)

He was pretty good in K-1, i'll give him that and took Min Soo Kim down well, although with not much actualy MMA "Combat" under his belt, despite his style, strength & size, I'm seeing the fight more in Mir's favour, should be very interesting!

Yer for people that don't no the WWE champ left and signed with the UFC. The thing to consider is WWE is fake the UFC is 100% real. Will be good to see how he gets on.

I personally think He will win. Looks in great shape and was at a professional wrestling standard before going in the WWE so has some good fighting background. Wrestlers all ways do well in the UFC , Tito Ortiz , Randy Couture etc
 
Yeah I'm pumped for UFC 81 (will be shown on Bravo tomorrow night) purely for the main event: Lesnar vs. Mir. I'm a (attitude era) wrestling fan and it will be interesting to see if Lesnar can back his mouth up in the "real world" of fighting. Sort of like how Kimbo Slice backed his mouth up against Ray Mercer and Bo Cantrell. Can't wait!
 
My god... I actually missed the Griffin/Bonner fight and just heard about it, watching it now (near the end of the second round).

This is right up there with some of the best fights I've seen in UFC and Pride :D

Absolutely brilliant fight, they both put everything on the line for the $1,000,000 contract.

It was a six figure contract, but still a fair bit of dosh and it was one of the best fights I've seen as well.
