So who not received their copy of Wow Cataclysm

I expected Amazon to post my order earlier to compensate for the snow and the postal service to do their job. My Dad had things posted on the same day, with three different couriers and they did their job (including the royal mail) so shut up and naff off out of the thread.

Same here actually we only had a slight dusting of snow over the past week nothing that stuck neither.

What really bugs me is that the pendant i ordered from the same place for the girlfreind has shown up today, but not the game, well here hoping it here tomoz if not im ordering the digital copy and will return the DVD if & when it shows up.
 
Doesn't necessarily help, but if anyone wanted a copy and was struggling with postal ordered copies, the Tesco 24/7 Kingston in MK had a load of copies earlier.

Realised when I went in to get my lunch, hadn't actually realised it was out today... 2 years ago I'd have probably been there at midnight to get it. (I literally was there the night of the TBC launch...they didnt have any).
Nostalgic in a way this sort of stuff, I just dont play much anymore, still not decided if I'll even buy Cata.
 
its lack of communication really. If they said sorry we can't get the item to you or some how able to track it then it would give you a idea where the thing is.....

All warehouses of stock, delivery hubs, and roads between them are not next door to you. Distribution of everything has been massively hit over the last couple of weeks and the knock-on effect is getting worse not better. I've been from the midlands to east London today, 6 hours work while I was there, 8 hours driving - and there's no snow on the motorways, but there's ice, and freezing fog amongst other things.

And no I'm not a postie, but I am in distribution.
 
Well I spoke to a guy at City Link - mines apparantly on the van for delivery since 8.21am but not been delviered.

The guy said:

* Can't call the delivery driver since the phones have been down for three hours (yet I was speaking to them on the phone - he didn't get this)
* Can't say where it is but it won't be taken back to base (so basically all of the undelivered stuff for the day sits inside there vans outside there house)
* Apparantly they put the wrong label on it so this may also cause a delay
* They can apparantly attempt to deliver it tomorrow even though I said I'd collect it but because the post is in the van the driver might just try and deliver it

They have no idea what the **** they are doing.

In this time when companies are desperately trying to win business how the hell can they expect to keep custom when they provide such an atrocious service. The only thing I can do is vote with my feet and never use them again.

Edit: Forgot to also say that even though there opening hours no the web are 7.30am to 9pm they actually close at 8pm. Superb.

Mine is somewhere with city link.

Can't stand them. Awful service. Remember when Overclockers used them and they were shocking then.

Amazon need to sort their **** over this. Really poor service.

Guy said he "couldn't explain" why I'd not got it, said something about having no drivers and I will have it tomorrow.

S'okay. There goes my week off. **** you.

I can't agree more.

They've come across as not knowing the arse from their elbow. Seem to have no clue what they're doing.

The guy on the phone (other then sounding muchos depressed) had no idea what was happening.

Will not be using them again.
 
I want my collectors edition.

I'm so annoyed, booked this week off, arranged to level with friends, do certain things. Even stumped up for extra postage.

If I go buy a normal edition of the game, can I add my collectors pet and such to it?
 
Haven't got mine, was shipped from game 03/12/10. We haven't had any post in 10 days due to snow.

Logged in last, 2500 queue on Kazzak - not much point having it anyway!
 
I've had sod all snow for a week now and I live right mnext door to the post office sorting er office. RM let me down yet again.
