It doesn't mention PCI-E 1.0 though, Which might be a limit of 8X, So PCI-E 1.1 might be 16X and up.
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.
Yer pci-e 1.0 can run upto speeds of 16x so its not that.
Its going to be hard to find out what motherboards have what connector.

Anyone know what the PCI Express version is on the Gigabyte P35C-DS3R is? It only has one slot, that's why I'm asking.
Cheers,
Blue.

Well the following may help

Says there the nForce 4 is PCIe 1.0a........
So no nForce4 board will be able to use a PCIE2.0 card? Or could the manufacturers have used another chip on the board to provide PCIE1.1?
As far as I know, the PCI express bus connects directly to the northbridge so if the chipset doesn't support it, it most likely means the board won't. But I'm not 100%
i cant find if the nforce 650i supports it (p5ne sli). its so hard to find a list on the net which simply details the pci express formats on the boards.
According to this:

The northbridge (C55) on the P5N-E SLI does indeed support PCI-E 1.1![]()
