so would you like to save on 360 titles? Get games before release? in here please.

Right, ive been researching 360 game suppliers in the UK and submitting applications for a wholesale licence to them (as im an official company director). And i reckon if a group of around 50 of us were after a game before release we could get it at least as cheaply as the online stores and just perhaps it might overzealously end up in the post a little way before release, you know, to make sure it arrived on time.

Any opinions? Would only be open to regulars and referrals, and up front payments would be required.

Actually, not to put a dampner on anything, but wouldnt you be stepping on OcUK's rules of no traders selling stuff via the board? (or even pimping business).

you would be infringing on the forum rules, so would have to operate from something else.

if it meant cheaper games though id be up for it, i dont normally return games anyway, i only buy what i want.

Also when they start rolling out titles it might get a little out of hand, would be ok for now tho

yes ive had some responses, such as from the supplier of woolworths... i will not in any way be offering or open to offering anything that impinges on ocuk products. I have no intention of "biting the hand that feeds me shall we say" this will be purely games and probably for the most part, anticipated pre-release orders. There will be NO RETURNS policy cept where faulty. having said which im not out to rip anyone off.

Im still looking into pricing. If i cant offer below what stores online do then its next to pointless. Average wholesaler ships at about £25 before vat and del. so on reasonable orders thats maybe £31 to your door.

The rules of the forum are no trading though.

So you would need to setup your own forum / service for people though.

Sounds like a good idea to me, but you would indeed need your own boards and then to get the news out to everyone.. which cant be done through OcUK either as you would be 'pimping' your service.

But theres always email and instant messenger.

As for spreading the word, well theres the forum Live gamertag list and live has a PM service, all you need imo. Wouldn't have to involve the OCUK forums at all (well apart from to get the list of gamertags)

Your selling stuff so you would need a VAT registered company, someone to do your books and the such, not worth the hassle.
