Soft-boiled eggs and soldiers

I don't do the whole 'boiled eggs' thing, but I do my fried eggs 'gooey'. So they're not completey 'runny', but they are perfect imo.

runny eggs for the win.

nothing tastes better than a runny egg yolk. poached, boiled, fried, on bacon, sausages, on its own, with gammon, toast, chips, hollandaise, salted,unsalted.... you get the picture.

A couple of nights ago I perfectly cooked a couple of pieces of seasoned rump steak and just ate them with poached eggs. No sauce except oodles of runny yolk. Magic.

a work colleague mentioned steak and eggs to me the other day, first time i had ever heard of it and it sounded lovely. will definitely be trying it soon
