    Hi all,

does anyone know of any software where I could scan say a newspaper article and then edit the text? It's a long shot but I thought it might be possible.

    Cheers,

You're looking for an OCR package.

I remember using Omnipage a long long time ago (when optical character recognition was still fairly primative) I'm not sure what the current best solutions are atm. Check to see if anything came with your scanner software.
