Sold a horse, turns out he has cataracts and the buyer wants their money back

Surely it works in a similar way to a car?

The buyer had the opportunity to send a vet over and decided not to, so surely that makes it their problem?

she should have had it check out by a local vet, surely there must be at least one in the neighbourhood?

She was actually given the numbers for 2 local vets that I do not use and also the number for the vet that he was registered with and that did his vaccinations.

It is the buyers fault to be fair....the option was there to get the vet checked (at they're own cost naturally) Yet they didn't bother....

However people can swing it round and say you sold it while knowing the cataracts was there (Yes, I know you wasen't aware of it :p) therefore you should be the one to blame...however theres no evidence for that.

More fool her then. I'm guessing this horse was at the "cheap" end of the market for her to skimp on the vetting?

Just had a look at those images of him, remember when the other one blinked when I took the photo? :D LOL

He is fully functional for the purpose he has been sold for as a schooling/hacking/jumping/ridden horse.

Wow!, I never knew they could be used for hacking, do they need special keyboards or something?
