Some games don't work on 50hz, help! - And, How to kill GoW train monster!?

Hi,

We tried to play Topspin after we downloaded it for the 360, however we can't play it because it says it can only be played at 50hz, our TV is set at 60. This laos happend with one of the arcade games i wanted to try out. My two questions are: How can i stop this from happening, if at all? Apart from switching to 50hz? EDIT I read it again and it actually says PAL-50, my bad.

And I am loving Gears of War at the moment, however i am at the end of the train level where that boss is, i forget the name (the one with a big machine gun and kryll flying around him). Now i know you kill him when the kryll leave him, but what makes them leave? It seems to be random. I can easily get in a few magazines worth into him once or twice, but after that the kryll don't leave him anymore and he starts walking over to me. I then try to run away to the other side of the carriage, but his kryll (alongside his machine gun) mow me down in a few seconds. Any tips of advice on how to defeat him?

@GoW part.

You fire the Torque Bow at him to get the Kryll of him, then get as many Sniper shots on him as you can, active reloads preferably I just went for the Head and Back, weep and repeat. Make sure you stay in the light also. If you ain't found them already the Torque Bow and Sniper are near the door you go through to get to the boss fight.

Done it on Hardcore going for Insane in a few days

It's on the train near the Windows right before the boss fight, y'know before the doors you go through with Dom standing by. Look around and you'll find it I didn't spot it at first which lead to a few deaths :mad:

also try throwing a grenade at him once the kryll have dispersed, this will do a lot of damage if aimed well.

to kill the train guy i just spam him to hell with bullets (even when his bats are round him)

did this method on all casual/hardcord/insane

Both the torque bow and sniper rifle respawn at the point before the boss, just pick it up wait and then pick it up again for more ammo. Get a full set of ammo for the torque bow and just keep firing it at him.

I think the overall consensus is just keep firing regardless of if he has kryl round him or not, it's not really that difficult even on Insane, well if your doing it co-op anyway. Insane alone must be a bit of a challenge.

Do you mean it can only be played at 60Hz and your tele is at 50Hz? All teles in the UK can do 50Hz.

Dont even bother with the sniper rifle, even on insane. Torque bow active reloads and then grenades are enough to kill him. I didnt use the sniper rifle. I had it just in case but didnt need it. If you edge away from raam at the right moment when he comes near the wall he wont come all the way around. So you dont even need to do the leg it up the other end.

Take torque bow and 12 shots and its game over for poor old raam.

just spammed him with bullets until he sent kryll after me, then used the longshot to kill him... found it extremely easy, thought boomers were more of a challange.

I just headshotted him with the sniper a few times, when he got close I ran to the other end of the platform.

The flying thingies never even bothered me :confused:

on insane i just used grenades and then active lancer reloads on his eyeballs. he soon fell.

I just don't get on with the whole waiting for it to get accurate b4 i can shoot it thing.

Dont know abou the tv but you right trigger the torque bow to prime it first then pop up for a shot. Dont stand up then R trigger. That way there's no waiting.
