Some OCUK topics are crashing IE8

Subscribe to my ingenious idea, OcUK by mail.

I'll send you GD topics in printed form once a week, simply post the letter back with the topic you wish to read. I'll then reply with the printed form of that topic.

Best solution so far imo.

Printed OcUK yearly book anyone? :D

The first thread you linked to only has two pages and the second only has one page. How could you be suffering problems on page 3?

I'm using IE8 (I have no choice on this PC) and they work perfectly well.

Get someone to print out the pages of the topics you can't read and post them to you. Then you write a reply and post it back for them to post on your behalf. Use 1st class mail obviously - 2nd class will take too long and people will have posted new replies by the time your response is added.

Erm, are you sure about that mate?

The first is in PC games forum, thread title "How old is too old?" currently on its 5th page.

The 2nd is a link to a GD threat titled "Chance encounter leads to dilemma" currently on its 3rd page.

Cheers

It's because, I assume, he has it set to show the maximum number of posts per page so it only shows as 2 pages. If it was on default I'm sure it would show 5 but I can't be bothered to change it to check.
