Working 12 hour night shifts has its benefits, one being I can pick up a walkie talkie, my camera and wander around the building and spend as much time as I like practising.

I like 5b better, the giant white block is very distracting. Lighting looks softer in b too, bit more calm, which is quite fitting for an empty corridor.

Cheers for the replies, the white block in 5a is recessed lighting and a simple column detail, I do see what you are saying about the harshness.

All of these were shot using the ambient lighting, the two things I set out to improve on was composition and working without a flash source.

As for the pipe, yeah, that one has screamed at me to be captured for a very long time now!

i think the pipe would look better without its shadow, i think it distracts me.
