hi all

i am just asking is this little package is ok for my 2 young step kids ( just under 11 ), has would like to build them a nice little desktop ( i have a couple of monitors in my spare stock pile ) for there home work & internet use etc, also i would use it if i need too for some basic games & music \ video etc.

& i know the psu only has got 2 sata connectors on it but i can use some converter leads if i need to, untill i can get a better psu in a few months. a long with a nice cheapish gpu card too.

nice one mate i will go intel as that cpu beats the amd by a bit, & you are right about the psu as i dont like the sound of skimping but working for my self i do at times sorry to say.... .

however i will nip OC asap & get the stuff later today me thinks.

thanks just trying to keep the funds low on this one now, as i would like to undate my main rig in my sig.

i like the zotac gpus's but what do i get to replace my 280gtx ?,,,, too many nice new ones out there now ( i would only like to spend about £250 or so this time ).
 
mmmm if i do i will need to upgrade the psu me thinks as i can not remember but i think there is a power lead short on the xfx psu.

oh well if it plays some games on med settings that will do, as i will not be playing games that much down there & the kids only play simple games so far...

& optimalnrg i will just be using a single card mate as i dont really like Sli'ing as yet, plus the new build is down at my girlfriends so i will not be using it that much, & i have my sig pc what is my main pc.


good to say i have hve some great help off here, so i better my save some cash fast & get the parts asap.... but i have a cam belt change next week booked in for my audi a4 2.5 tdi so that is going to cost me a bit.

however i will see what i can do asap as i like this new build but my main rig feels left out now......lol

oh my what have i done,,,,,,,

i got the cpu cooler & the tp-link wifi card however i broke in to my isa a bit & got the mint zotac 570 gtx amp gpu card & wow it all mosted doubled my 280 gtx scores !!! the card is very quick for me & my games, so i put the 280 gtx in this i3 built & it runs very nice & smooth now in most of my games.

so thank you all & i look forward to playing on this great i3-2120 over the next few days as the kids can wait ( they are young so they have no need to use it ha-ha ).
