Somebody please do something about new Somalian regime

...before i do something bad

After taking over the better part of they nation, the now want the introduction of Sharia/Islamic law, on the basis that "all somalians are muslim" :rolleyes:

.....erm one of my ex was a somalian and she is a christain.

I dont understand the mindset of this people man. Sooner or later this whole non-sense will spill into neigbouring countries and spread **possibly** into Nigeria.

What you doing to do about it? Only thing we can do is ignore it and leave it to the politicians.

Don't know the FULL ins and outs, but I always thought that "Sharia" was a 'following' and not a set law?

Stonings and amputations for thieves are not uncommon in areas run by the Islamic courts.

It shouldnt be so, it is barbaric and inhuman.

I see myself joining some sort of Revolutionary army to fight against stuff like this...

The politicians aint gonna do anything other than suck up to the warlords as they dont have much weapons or backing of the people.

I dont know, perhabs some sort of education? uprising?....

I just feel like it is things like that, that stops the continent from moving forward despite all the resources and potential there

You mean you have hate towards people who stop mankind from progressing the way you see fit. Just because you don't agree with something doesn't necessarily mean you have to supress it. Which in a way makes you a dictator. Which means you're not any better than the guys forcing Somalians to be Muslim.

Are you trying to be contrary... last time I checked sexist veils and cruel+unusual punishments were not accepted as 'alternate progression'

No i meant what i said, not what you think am saying. It is not about the way i see fit but how the whole world or most somalians feel about that.

Are you telling me the introduction of sharia court is acceptable?

Not at all. I'm merely trying to make a point that if you want something to be done then you must go about it the appropriate way and not just ask "someone to do something".

Yes I agree. It is unacceptable. However should the foreign world go the the aid when not invited or shall we wait for an invitation, a cry for help?

I cant, i dont know if i have the means, beside i feel like if i yell about it a lot and tell the whole world perhaps someone will offer some sort of solution to that part of the world.
