Someone hates me

We this see you drifting about and then stacking it? ^^ Can I put it on youtube? :p ;)

It's my first track day in the Soarer so I'll be taking it nice and easy and getting to know the car and what I need to change for future events :).

I learned my lesson last year there when I went banzai in the old GTI and ended up facing the wrong way :o.

not a single puncture in 15 years of driving - last year I had 5 punctures/bust tyres, non being repairable due to being run flat tyres. Managed to get the cost of 2 of the tyres back from the council after I hit a large pothole in a road.

Kerbed my alloy in style - oncoming fire-engine going past a row of traffic, pulled over to let it through. The Ford Ka at the head of the row of oncoming traffic however, decided the perfect place to stop and let it past was directly level with where I'd stopped, so I pulled up onto the pavement to make room. So the alloy's got a huge scrape on it and I have this nagging feeling that the fire engine may have just been able to squeeze through if I'd stayed put. Alloys are easier to replace than wing-mirrors when it comes to my car but still gutted :(

Wrong way isn't too bad - I got my dad a trackday for his birthday last year and the old Mini in front of us did a barrel roll after running wide in Paddock Hill bend.

Found out a couple weeks after the incident that someone has pried my passenger door open. I was able to stick my fingers in the gap between the window rubber and the metal is now bowed out and distorted.

It has annoyed me greatly!

Edit: and I thought I left my passenger door open.

I have to say that losing it at Paddock is my number one fear - It looks like a properly nasty place to have an accident, especially if you don't scrub off much of the easy 100MPH+ you picked up on the straight.

I was lucky to only lose it on the entrance to surtees with nobody else around me.
