Someone my brother knows got into the News of the World for the wrong reasons..

Can't feel that sorry for him, if he was a responsible police officer he should know how to act, and he is acting improperly. Wouldnt be bad at all if he wasn't wearing police gear and got his warrant number scrawled across his chest, he'd just be another random freak ;)

I have to say, I agree with the other poster in this thread. Its a private matter between him and the other girl.

This is what I hate about newspapers, they have sold this story to make some money one day, but as a result have wrecked that guys life.

Ok he is a tool for doing it in his police uniform and with his number on his chest, but it certainly doesnt warrant this.

Well IMO it does warrant it. Certainly his dismissal.

He's bringing the force into disrepute at a time when its not exactly being covered in glory. As someone said, he'd have been just another freak if he'd not had his name/badge number involved!

Yeah i know, all the "newspaper" went out to do was to ruin his life tbh. Thats why i'd be happy to see tabloids just disappear. They're all just about stirring trouble up trouble.

FACT OF THE DAY: The average reading age of the people that read "The Sun" is 8 years old IIRC.

Yes but what occured was between him and another individual. Its certainly not altered my view of the police.

He looks like a young lad, and he does not deserve that.

Its only bringing the force into disrepute if your the kind of person who reads the tabloids and then shouts about it, using the newspapers opinion and not their own.

I seem to recall a girl getting fired from an air hostess job recently because she had her uniform on in pictures in her blog, I don't think his feet will touch the ground tbh.

Easy excuse for local women now will be I thought he was that perv so I....

lol what an idiot, its not like those photos are even slightly "raunchy" he just looks stupid, especially the one with his baton in his mouth...what on earth did he think he was doing?

Its mainly the fact he has his police number scrawled across him like other people have said, there was no need for that really?

If by recently you mean October 2004... ;)
And her pictures were hardly indecent, I would even feel quite safe from the banhammer linking them in here (I've seen worse in peoples sigs), but alas her blog has swearies in it.

Didn't they print that in The Sun? ;)

Of course he deserves to lose his job.

Do you really want someone that stupid being in a position where lives could depend on his good judgement?

Not me. :)
