today i had a motorbike track day - great as i've spent a week and a half adding trick bits and getting bits made for my race bike. was going to be blinding once done.

went on a trackday and weather was lovely... out in first session feeling really good and getting used to the bits.

then came in to check something and the bike died.

rattling from the bottom end and wont idle = i think big ends gone....

£90 and only 1 session. to top it off i got a lift home to pick up the road bike which i then rode back with the intention of going out on.

the weather then turned from sun to snow in about 30 minutes!!!! it didn't stop raining since and my road bike is on the same race tyres the bloody race bike is! so had to ride back on near slick tyres in the peeing rain after blowing an engine up after doing 1 session of a trackday.

i'm so fed up...

Stop moaning and get it fixed then ;)

Easier said than done I know, and I know I'm not helping, I'm just bored at the minute as I'm waiting for people to get home from work :(
 
bummer, I need to get the mazda prepped for the trackday I'm doing in early may. Going to get some nice fresh mobil1 oil etc etc as I would actually cry if I broke my engine.
