How the bloody hell do you think they managed to get all those colours to explode at those times? Do you think it's a digitally enhanced advert, or controlled explosions?

Bloody good advert! :D

I'll see if I can find a link for the advert for those who haven't seen it.

Edit: Quick Google did it!

I read the webpage about a month ago and its a real place with real people living there. It was done with a special paint that cleans up easily but still took about six days to clean.
One of the best adverts ever.

I think I must be the only person who was a bit underwhelmed by the ad :)

I'm sure it's impressive from an engineering perspective and yeah, it's kinda cool in a rougish, playschool, tee-hee-let's-chuck-some-paint-around way but it's not the sort of thing I want to see more than once or twice.

I can't see myself remembering it in 15+ years time in the same way as the "Accrington Stanley" Milk advert, or the "Je t'aime" John Smiths one.

Also in general as an advert it's a bit strange since if people can see all the colours vividly on the telly they are watching now, it's hardly encouraging them to rush out and buy another.

I wondered the same thing, totally pointless cleaning the area....If anything it would have looked better......Could have combined the paint with the tearing down of the flats too, better advert....We'll never know :D

I wasn't blown away by the commercial because it just looked too much like it was all done with computers. I know it was all real, but in the advert it's only really that very end shot where you see the paint raining down which seemed 'real' to me.

Could have sworn when I read the web page when it first came on that people were still living there.
If it was going to be knocked down then why did they clean it up?
Its a mystery.
I believe those actual flats were already empty for demolition but the other flats in the area had to be evacuated during the making of the ad. Apparently they sent all the residents to some seaside resort for the day.
