Anyone have this phone? What do you think of it?

I'm looking for a small smartphone, mainly just for normal phone duties, organiser functions and the occasional web browsing. I'll be using it on pay-as-you go with my current sim, so will be buying handset only.

This phone looks ideal for organiser functions - big screen, handwriting recognition and touch screen. I'm not bothered about the camera, as I'd rather use a good digital cam. Overall the phone looks perfect - anything I should know about it?

Do you REALLY need a touchscreen? Have you tried the keypad? Have you tried SUIQ? The buttons are definately NOT for everyone and the operating system has its quirks, one big thing i noticed was you type a number into the home screen but you can directly save it to contacts!? Few quirks like that put me right off. I decided i can do without the size (not the weight mind) and touchscreen and i'm now a very proud owner of the Nokia E60 :) 16.7millon colours (best of ANY phone) and generous 352 x 416 pixels resolution mean even though the physical size of the screen is small its wonderful to read.
When i first booted it up i noticed the nokia and babies hand where of unparalleled detail. I picked mine up for £130 off the bay, good deal i think :)

I've got one, as a PDA its quite nice but cannot compete with WinCE.

It cannot keep the time! And worse of all it continues in typical SE fashion on Orange to provide virtually no reception, anywhere!

I've got one and loving it. It's totally fine as a phone, great reception and voice quality with Vodafone. I really like the symbian system and the touch screen really complements it. Much nicer to use and navigate than my friends N80. Also IMO the look and feel are a lot nicer than WM5.0. There's something about WM5.0 that is just dirty but there you go.

Agreed on the WM5 i've used the universal and i just couldnt get on with it seriously as a phone, but i'm still not that happy with UIQ and some of its weird quirks, im sure once you get used to it, its great, but some things are backwards. I've never been a nokia man, but using the s60 3rd OS is a dream on my e60 i know people have had troubles with the n series, but my e series impeccably behaved!
