So tempted to buy the Sony KD55AG8BU 55" 4K Ultra HD HDR OLED, see some good reviews around

Does anybody have one of these for playing movies & games

I have the year previous model, the AF8 and am very happy with it. Not the best with reflection handling, but that is my only criticism really. Great sound, great picture, excellent motion handling.
It won't have gsync capability like the lg c9 would, but if you're not looking at gaming much on it that won't really matter that much

I would get the C9 myself, more future proof.

Expensive. Also good sound system means playing for it, and Android system (no thanks)

Also HDR is buggy.

Plus pnael is two years old now it's from LG the c8 era

I have the AG8. I only do light gaming on it. Wanted it for the screen and motion handling. Blown away with the picture coming from an old 43 inch edge lit LED. I
dont use the apps and have an amp for sound. just the picture quality. 1080 sky looks great 4k Netflix from xbox great. Best tv I have ever owned ( so far).

All OLEDs are awesome but the LG will serve you better for gaming, particularly given the HDMI2.1 feature set; class-leading input lag; and gsync compatibility if you're PC gaming.

Panasonic will have marginally better colour accuracy and the Sony will have better motion processing; but the LG C9 is an excellent all-rounder.
