sony picture package for vista

hello all
ive just about finished all 6 digital tapes for my sony handycam ( DCR-HC19E )
since i bought it technology has moved on and the software disk that came with it is not vista compatable
does anyone know an alternative to sony picture package software that i can use to record from my digital tapes to my computer
i have like 5 years of footage here :eek:

and im thinking im gonna be stuck with it on these digi tapes
any help would be very much appreciated

does it definetly not work in compatibility mode ? most stuff does on vista/7

no, wont even let me install from disk
pops up with a compatability blah blah message

Can you not get access to a computer with xp on it? I have a similar camera and just borrowed my parents laptop to download the video.
