Sony TV Query

I recently purchased a Sony 46X2000 TV and theres an annoying 'feature' which I can't get rid of.

Every time the TV turns on it defaults to the onto board tuner, either the digital or analogue one. I want it to default to the HDMI port for Sky HD but I can't find an option to do this. Does anyone know if its possible to change this setting ?

I had a quick scan of the manual for your tv but couldnt see anything obvious in the setting menu the tv should remember the last input selected so if you used the hdmi input last it should remember that setting once you turn it back on.

i dont own a sony tv i have a samsung and that remembers the last input used.

I've had a sony TV in the past which remembered the last input and the panasonic tv I had before this did the same. How can it be that I upgraded my TV but lost functionality ?
