Sony WH-1000XM4 - Thoughts?

Double duty, for listening to music on daily commute and general PC use with games.

Probably using cable for PC and bluetooth with phone.

I have the WH-1000XM4 and they are excellent for music, daily commute and if I am listening on PC generally. However for gaming I use the Logitech Pro-X wireless headphonse, the mic is important and the Sony aren't great there. I also find they don't do as well direction wise.

That sounds great (pun not intended).

I have a seperate desk mic but would never have expected them to be good for that. Adequate for making phone calls?

I looked further and took a punt on the XM5

Normally have wired headphones so just concerned with how much money in these has gone on actual audio quality, drivers and such and how much is on other guff?
