@ duffman

Well it would appear Orange have updated their website and under the 4G handsets it now mentions selecting a New plan and min term under EE when it becomes available.

So as it turns out I've potentially been mis sold my upgrade by Orange...fact is I've paid £149.99 for the handset already and if I went from an 18.45 p/m deal to higher without a refund of the handset price depending id be rather annoyed.

Also couple the fact I was informed I can take this plan with me...well I can see a strongly worded letter making it's way to Orange.

What can I say - the guys manning the phones for mobile networks seem quite poorly informed on some things - particularly "upcoming" unreleased products :(

I was hoping that you were right and that plans would remain unchanged. Still, lets wait and see what the prices are. There's talk of EE making a "land grab" by offering good 4G contract deals in November and December, so maybe the 4G deals won't be extortionate.

Yeah I'm hoping so too...however spending the amount I did on the handset due to the cheap contract won't sit well with me when we all know the more you pay per month the less the handset inevitably costs.

I'm going to raise an enquiry with orange re: what I've been.informed and how the information is now contradictory on their website. Hoping for a positive response however I will probably have to play it out on the 30th and see what happens. If it needs to get taken further so be it.

No one still has a clue.

Just phone t mobile.after being put on hold for over 30 mins i was told i can have the glaxy s3 lte version for £50 on the £36 a month full monty which seems the same deal as anyone would get.

If i get my pac and go to orange through quidco i get £120 back........

None of them can give imformation on the 4g and i certainly dont want a 2 year contract with a 4g phone if i cant afford the "4g Bolton" so to speak.

Might go into a store and see what they say. Might find someone that can speak english in there.
