It just goes to show that not much happens in each series that he can fit all the main events into 7 mins . I do like the show but think it could have been a lot better without the psychiatrist (sp?) bits and a bit more action.

The Sopranos is about Tony's life and the way in which he deals with all the stresses of his two "families" a major part of that being the shrink. The stuff he says to the shrink has hidden or sometimes obvious menaing to what happens or has happened. It is what makes the Sopranos great the fact that it isn't just mindless violence but has this whole plotline running alongside it. if it was for Dr. Melfi i doubt it would've been as successful.
Further you wait to the last episode i gurantee there'll be something linked to all his therapy sessions in it.
The therapy is what makes the sopranos clever, being clever is what makes the sopranos great.
