I wanted to know something similar. Is the wireless mouse worth getting over the wired one? How long does the battery last? My understanding it doesn't come/have any charging dock.

The wireless one has 2 AA batteries in, you can use either 1 or 2 AA battery for the mouse to work, the Energizer Lithium batteries you get with the mouse lasts me 3 months. I now have Energizer 2500mAh rechargeable batteries in it and they last about a month...

As long as you have a bluetooth dongle i don't see why it won't work in windows?
