Rubbish in the context of that budget. For £5k, its an excellent car.

10k for that is a steal mate, an absolute steal. Mines a similarish spec and I've been offered £11200 cash for it.

Test drive a DC2 before buying a DC5, tenner says you prefer the DC2.

I'd have no problem dropping 7 or 8K on a mint low mileage late DC2. A late import Type Rx in White or Yellow could be worth up to 9K for the right car, I wouldn't buy anything else for under 10K they really are that good.
They aren't just good down a twisty road, any road is a pleasure to drive. It's getting rather boring listening to the same old tripe about only being any good down a twisty road, it's not like it's a stripped out racing car.
