Sound card for music

Hi,

whats the best sound card for music that i can get for my Klipsch speakers ?

I would have said the Auzentech X-Meridian 7.1, but since thats discontinued... It would be between the Auzentech Prelude and the Asus Xonar. Are you using analog or digital?

xonar d2 pips it for audio. though spending £100 on a soundcard doesnt make much sence when your using pc speakers. you wouldnt be getting the best from it

Xonar D2, great drivers and fantastic sound quality

Card doesn't look half bad either.

the vista drivers are pretty buggy actually

but i cant grumble with the sound quality

I have found them to be ok, not messed around with them. Just changed the in/output
resolution and let the card do the rest.

yeah i get problems with sounds sometimes coming out of the rears or and swapping speakers aroudn ect. only so often, and swapping the speakers around and back again in the drivers sorts it.
